The Structure of Rotary

When you are in Rotary, you are part of a global organization that has 30,000 clubs in nearly every county on Earth comprising over 1 million members.


The organization has one big global organization in Chicago, 1000 districts made up of individual clubs, and Rotaract clubs for college students and Interact clubs for those in high school who want to put service before self to make a difference in the world.
Berkeley Rotary is a proud member club within District 5160.

 

Rotary International

Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated human rights purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.
District 5160 Rotary 5160 comprises 72 clubs, up the middle of California, from Berkeley in the South to the Oregon border.

Cal Rotaract Rotaract is the collegiate level of the world’s oldest and most renowned service organization, Rotary International, and serves as the intersection between service and professionalism for young adults ages 18-30. With 8,400 Rotaract clubs across 170 countries, Rotaracters engage in meaningful service initiatives worldwide and form an unparalleled network of influential, inspiring, and compassionate leaders.​
East Bay Rotaract ​East Bay Rotaract Club is a community-based Rotaract club, and encourages membership from anywhere in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.  Our membership extends anywhere from Mountain View to San Leandro to Berkeley.  The club is sponsored by Berkeley Rotary, and because of this relationship, Rotaractors become “true partners in service” with Rotarians.
Berkeley High Interact Interact is the high-school level of Rotary, dedicated to community and global service. The Berkeley Interact Club meets every Tuesday noon at Berkeley High School, Room C-217. New members are welcome throughout the year!
