Attending lunch meetings

(Health form for attending in person).

Berkeley Rotary Club meets weekly on Wednesdays (except for the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year). The meetings start at 12:30 pm and end at 1:30 pm. We gather (both on Zoom and in person) starting about 12:15, and sometimes the Q&A with speakers is extended as far as 1:45 pm. Following the meeting (both on Zoom and in person) personal discussions continue until all agree to leave.

As the COVID-19 pandemic relaxes, the Berkeley Rotary Club is meeting in hybrid format, in downtown Berkeley and via Zoom (virtual meeting software). Our aspiration is that this be simultaneous, concurrent, fully cross-interactive. Our practices and technology are attempting to take two meetings and making them into one hybrid meeting.

In person:

All vaccinated members may choose to attend our in-person meeting at First Presbyterian Church, 2407 Dana St., Berkeley, CA 94704 - that is, northwest corner of Dana and Channing Way. Please enter at the main gated door on Channing Way, east of Dana.

To meet city and church requirements those participating in person must follow these rules:

Participants must be fully vaccinated.

Church parking is available; please get a Rotary parking pass . There is also a city lot  directly across Channing Way.

A $10 per person cover charge will defray our expenses. Please bring small bills; no credit cards; but we will accept payment by Venmo.

Bring your own lunch if you like. Lunch may also be purchased at the church for $10.

Wear a mask on church property.

Observe social distancing. We will sit 5 to a table.

If you are at all hesitant about joining in person, please feel free to join on Zoom.

On Zoom:

We open the Zoom session by 12:15pm for informal gathering. The formal meeting runs from 12:30 to 1:30. Q&A may run until 1:45pm. We close the Zoom session at 1:45pm (or when all agree to leave).

Each weekly meeting has its own link. We send out reminders a few days in advance. We send out the invitations with the link to that week's session early Wednesday morning.

If you would like to attend a meeting, please send a request by email to info@BerkeleyRotary.org, so that we can add you to our Zoom invitations. Please include your name, email address, and reason for wanting to attend. We look forward to having you visit.
